In the early 1900s, Orthodox Congregation Anshe Libavitz was housed on Joy Street, in the West End of Boston, MA at the site of the original African Meeting House. Information was gathered, indexed, and further researched by Marjorie Duby, a g-g grandchild of Hannah Molke and Yakov Rubin of Lithuania. Photos were taken by Marjorie Duby with assistance from Elaine Abram in the summer of 2008. Vital records obtained from local archives; where gravestone photo information was in English on one side and Hebrew on the other, I submitted the Hebrew photo and included the data from the English side in the cemetery record.
