The general cemetery was established in 1907 but B'nai B'rith did not start using the grounds until after 1909. They utilize area 229b of the Evergreen Cemetery. They share space withWorkmen's Circle. The original B'nai B'rith burial grounds were located in a small area of the old Tucson City Cemetery which was closed in 1907 and bodies were removed between 1907 and 1926 and the cemetery as such was abandoned. Some of the bodies that were removed were reburied in the B'nai B'rith Section of the Evergreen Cemetery. There are burials in this section that have not been identified.
