Part of city cemetery, on street Pod cintorínom 1039/2. The Jewish cemetery in Ružomberok (Rosenberg, Rózsahegy) located in the area of ??the city cemetery. The original cemetery was near Váh, the Jewish community bought land on the outskirts of the city at Griambla and established a Jewish cemetery here in 1868. The cemetery served its purpose until II. world war. In 1965-1966, he gave way to the construction of apartment buildings on Žilinská cesta no. 12 – 18. The tombstones together with the remains were transferred to the city cemetery. Here they have a place at the very back, in the right corner. The cemetery also includes a lapidary and a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust, unveiled in 2022.
