The Jewish cemetery in Vysoká nad Kysucou (Hegyeshely) is located partially in Nižný Kelcov, on the slope of a hill about 800 meters from the village. In the past, the cemetery was unkempt and overgrown with trees, many tombstones were stolen and damaged by vandals. Some graves showed traces of digging.
In 2023, a large-scale restoration was carried out, all the tombstones found were cleaned and erected, the cemetery was surrounded by a stone wall, a Ten Commandments monument and an information board were also added to the cemetery. In the cemetery there are 83 tombstones, but some of them are unidentifiable. Another 8 fragments are on the stone wall. The peculiarity of the cemetery is that the surname Hochfelder prevails on the tombstones. The oldest tombstone is from 1857, the last burial found was in 1938.
