Jewish Cemetery Hliník nad Váhom (Formerly Vágagyagos), Bytca (part Hliník nad Váhom), SLOVAKIA. 52 burials total.
The preserved cemetery is only a part of the former larger cemetery, part of which was destroyed during the construction of the canal on the river Váh. The cemetery was repeatedly damaged by vandals and during the reconstruction in 2023 it was not possible to locate the location of all the tombstones found. A total of 65 tombstones or their parts, or marked grave sites, were found. 42 fragments was stored in the lapidary. Of this number, 53 burials have been identified, sometimes incompletely.
