Background: In 2017 my wife and I visited the cemetery. The caretaker, who lived next door, greeted us with a notebook listing the burials in the cemetery up to 2002. He told us a visitor had compiled the list a number of years ago and had given him the notebook. We asked if we could photograph the notebook and he readily agreed. He imposed no restrictions on the use of the photographs. There is no indication of the name of the compiler in the notebook nor is there any indication of a copyright.
The graves variously have lettering in Latin and in Hebrew letters or both. The person who wrote the list transliterated the Hebrew writing (into Romanian) and in almost all cases converted Hebrew dates to Gregorian dates. I converted a few dates based on what was written in the notebook.
I entered all of the data into an Excel spreadsheet.
