Ustrzyki Dolne's cemetery is situated outside of the town. Between the railway, the stadium and the forest on Gromadzyñ mountain (655 m asl) northern slope. The owner of this area is local community - Miasto Ustrzyki Dolne (town Ustrzyki Dolne), Photos were taken by Arkadiusz Komski at Ustrzyki Dolne jewish cemetery. The stock-taking of every gravestone on this cemetary was a part of the project "Our promised land", granted by Stefan Batory Foundation and Ford Foundation. Our work was done in cooperation with the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland. Each step on the cemetery was according to the Rabbinate Cemetery's Commission. |
