On a granite memorial place at the entrance to the cemetery, the inscription in Hebrew, Polish and German reads: "To the Polish Jews who settled in this city for hundreds of years." A separate footstone reads: "At this place is found the Jewish Cemetery existing until the World War whose remains of the tombstones were taken out of the Lake Struga Golaniecka by the participation in the summer of the year 2001 of an International Young Peoples group from Germany, Hungary and Poland." |
