Cemetery Description: |
Adivi Cemetery, Ashkelon, Israel. 43 burials total.
This is a small private cemetery, located in an orange grove, not far from the Old Municipal Cemetery. (The rest of the orange grove is now gone, so it is easy to find the cemetery.) There are few graves so there is no significance to grave location. the cemetery was established by Rehavia Adivi and his wife Lena upon the death of their married daughter in 1953 and it served people who were friends and associates of Adivi, who was Ashkelon's first mayor.
