Orthodox Cemetery of the Jewish community of Wiesbaden:
The previous Jewish community of Wiesbaden in addition to using the old cemetery, had its own orthodox cemetery, which was established in 1877. This graveyard contains 372 burials (about 1970) and covers 26.94 ar. (~3/4 acre). The Wiesbaden cemeteries also were used to bury the deceased from the surrounding communities (Biebrich, Bierstadt, Schierstein) until these established their own cemeteries.
Location: the orthodox cemetery abuts directly to the north on the municipal North-cemetery on Platter Street. |
