This is a small Victorian burial ground located on steep ground in the Rivelin Valley in Sheffield. The postal address is Waller Road, Sheffield, S6 5DP. The bet taharah is no longer in existence and the entrance is in a small gate in the wall. The land was acquired by the Sheffield Hebrew Benevolent Society in 1884 following a breakaway from the the Sheffield New Hebrew congregation in 1873 which was based in the West Bar synagogue. The aim of the breakaway was to provide support to immigrants from eastern Europe. The plot is a small parcel of land located between the Church of England and Roman Catholic burial grounds at Walkley.
