Cemetery Description: |
The oldest cemetery of West London Synagogue of British Jews, the mother congregation of the Movement for Reform Judaism. The database covers the years from the opening of the Cemetery in 1843 until its closure in 1951. There are a number of famous British Jews buried there and some very elaborate tombstones. Many of the grave stone have toppled over and the grass is mowed infrequently. It is not thought to be safe for visitors. Contact West London Synagogue for more visiting information.Burial data transcribed by Louise Messik from pre-existing data on JOWBR and data previously on the JCR-UK's All-UK Database.
