13 Coach Lane, Hazelrigg, Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The Hazelrigg cemetery includes old and new sections, as well the Ravensworth section and sections (old and new) reserved for the Gateshead Jewish community. (See map of cemetery, courtesy Alan Tobias.) The records for all these sections are included in the database. 2,296 burials total.
The burial records are from 1908 to February 2021 and were transcribed by Deborah Ross, based upon tombstone photographs provided by Peter Gatoff, records that had previously been on the All-UK Database of JCR-UK and earlier records (without photographs) on JOWBR, supplemented by additional photographs taken by Deborah Ross and her personal research, including frequent visits to the cemetery. Submission of material to JOWBR was coordinated by JCR-UK (David Shulman) and includes relevant links to the JCR-UK website.
