Almorah Cemetery, La Pouquelaye, Saint Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands. 22 burials total.
A very small enclave in the general cemetery. It is surrounded by an iron fence by a very big tree and some presumed Jewish graves are outside it. It is believed Jewish burials began here when a burial was refused in Westmount because of a falling out in the Jewish community.
Records have been supplied by the Societe Jersiaise, Jersey's resident Jewish historian and official records. Photographs were taken by submitter in 2017. Some plot numbers are supplied but there are no markings to indicate where they are. It is possible some headstones were removed during wartime by families who did not want their names to be identified as Jewish.
