Cemetery Description: |
Mount Sinai Memorial Park was established in 1920. It is comprised of individual sections serving 18 synagogues/organizations.
This section is located at the Pride of Israel roadway (the first roadway on the left (west) side of the main roadway). The section is divided into four sub-sections: SE (front, south side of the Pride of Israel roadway); SW (rear, left side); NE (front, north side of the Pride of Israel roadway); and NW (rear, right side). In the SE sub-section, the rows are sequenced from letters A1 (closest to the main roadway) through A5, B1 through B6, and C1 through C5 (designated "President's Row" and located at the south-east corner of the centre circle). In the SW sub-section, the rows are sequenced from letters E1 (closest to the centre circle) through E5, followed by F1 through F6 (at the rear). In the NE sub-section, the rows are sequenced from letters G1 (closest to the main roadway) through G5, H1 through H6, and I1 through I6. In the NW sub-section, the rows are sequenced from letters J1 through J7 (located at the north-east corner of the centre circle), K1 through K5, followed by L1 through L6 (at the rear). Graves are numbered sequentially separately on each of the south and north sides; grave 1 is closest to the Pride of Israel roadway or centre circle and higher-numbered graves are more distant from the roadway/circle.
