Woodlawn Memorial Park is a multi-cultural and multi-denominational cemetery set in a beautiful park-like setting which includes a network of over 4 kilometres of trails. Originally established by the Town of Guelph, the Township of Guelph, and the Anglican Church in 1854 as two separate cemeteries -- Union Cemetery and St. Georges Cemetery -- the name was changed to Woodlawn Cemetery in 1925. In 2004, in celebration of 150 years of service, the cemetery became Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The Beth Isaiah section is a Jewish section located at the southeast corner of the cemetery in block V; it is located to the south side of the roadway at the Marilyn Drive entrance to the cemetery. Rows (referred to as 'sections') are numbered sequentially from 1 (closest to the Marilyn Drive entrance) westwards. Graves are numbered sequentially from 1 (closest to the roadway) southwards.
