Cemetery records provided by Chesed Shel Emet, mitzvatemet.com. The Staro-Ulanovichskoe cemetery in Vitebsk is the only Jewish cemetery that has survived in the city. the territory of the cemetery is 6.83 hectares. It is divided into four sectors. In 2001, a guide to the cemetery was published with a circulation of 200 copies, compiled by Arkady Podlipsky. In 2018, the city's Jewish community and the Mishpoha Cultural Center published a second guide, compiled by Arkady Shulman and Lev Polykovsky. The edition contains a description of 6850 gravestones. The authors believe that the real number of those buried in the cemetery exceeds 10 thousand people.
