Cemetery Description:
Basic cemetery restoration was completed during the summer of 2006 by the Jewish Heritage Research Group under the direction of Yuri Dorn. The mayor of Rubezhevichi issued the permit because there are no longer any Jewish residents to maintain the cemetery. Coordinators of the project were Ron Miller and Eleanor Lange. Translations were provided by Yuri Dorn and Ron Miller. Approximately 150 monuments were completely illegible but were included with the set of monument images. This project cataloged all monuments that could be uncovered without desecrating the cemetery grounds. Contact Ron Miller at ron@millerus.com if you would like to help with perpetual care.
