Below is a little database regarding the Jewish cemetery of Stockerau, a little town some 20 kms northwest of Vienna on the road to Hollabrunn.  This cemetery still exists - it was not destroyed as a whole but vandalized.   A few gravestones were damaged or even destroyed. On the whole the cemetery is still intact, but many gravestones are difficult to read because of their age and the quality of the stones, some gravestones are toppled and some are in Hebrew only.  The cemetery is in "Schiesstaettring" opposite the Christian one. The door was locked but the wall on the back side is so low or even non-existent that anybody can enter freely.  Photographs and perhaps a short article about the former Jewish community will follow.
