In 1779, Jews were mentioned in Reichmannsdorf, those Jews protected by the knights (“Ritterschaftliche Juden”) and under the authority of “The State Rabbi” (“Landrabbiner”) in Bamberg, and later, in the 19th century, the regional rabbinate in Burgebrach**.

At the start of the 20th century, a time that was under the regional rabbinate of Bamberg (beginning in 1906), the community shrunk and lost its independent status.

The Jewish cemetery in Reichmannsdorf (whose date of establishment is unknown to us) is under the supervision of the Bavarian Union of Jewish Communities.

* Cemetery without a community in 1933.
**In 1933 there was no Jewish community in this place.
