Hello Freida and Avraham!
Right now I'm home for the holiday of Passover and I found the time to write you.
You're making plans to do something for us. It would be good if you could transfer one of us to you. I've spoken about it at home and we came to an understanding that the girls should be first in line, but if it's more difficult for you, then, I wouldn't refuse to leave our country.
You probably heard about the shock that our country have faced lately. Although it is quieter now, we have to admit that there are still a lot of explosives. It's true that I want to immigrate to Israel, if you can arrange something like that with our uncle Morris, as he did for Feika, (Frida you know about it), I would be very grateful to you. In any case, I'm ready to get out of here, one way or another.
I also want to ask you not to overload yourself with too much work. Surely, I'm not asking for financial help because we can arrange it by ourselves, but sometimes it is very difficult to arrange formal matters.
I came home for the holiday of Passover on Passover Eve for eleven days. The government exams will start after the holiday and a lot of work is waiting for us. A group of government delegates is watching over us, and the bad decrees, which I heard about at the “Tarbut” conference that I attended lately, might destroy the Jewish schools in Lita, especially our small high school.

My beloved children Freida and Abraham, May you live.
Thank God all of us are healthy. We're waiting for your letter. We waited for your letter for Passover, but so far we haven't received it, we hope to receive it in the next few days.
Freidale! You asked us a number of question and we didn't answer them. We know very well that your heart only wants to do good for us, but, unfortunately you can't help us because you're still not completely organized.
It is clear that we should worry about the girls first, especially for those who live in Dotnuva. Although Miriam is the first, we should also so something for Pessie. Maybe it will be possible to take her first to America, and later, with God's help, when things calm down in Eretz-Yisrael, we will try to send Miriam there. This is how we imagine it. Maybe God will fulfill all of our wishes for the best.
Did you meet with Heshel Fishel? What did he say? Tell him about our situation, maybe he will take it to his attention.

Pessie would have written to you but she is in Kovna. She is staying with Leah's Haluitizm. They invited her for Passover. Mother is busy with the preparations for the last days of Passover. Next time they will write you as well. Be healthy.
