Dear Sister and brother-in-law, and my dear daughter,
I received your letter, I am very glad that you are feeling well. May God give us only good news.
Thank you for sending us greetings and regards from our family. We are happy to hear about all our relatives.
We gave Ethel Abelevski regards from her sister, she was very happy and she thanks you. I am glad that you keep your promises.
Be happy and enjoy yourself. Write long letters. Your letters are always bringing us joy; to write and receive letters has by now become the most important topic.
Wishing you all the best, your sister, sister-in-law and mother,

My dear daughter Freida!
The family has already written to you, and I am writing to you the last, “last but not least.” To tell you the truth, there is not much news here that we can write you about, everything is as it was before. But still, we have to write.
Here the roads are not yet “winter-roads.” Today it snowed a little but the air is humid, and it is raining here and there. Usually, when the roads are good the profits are higher.
