A town in the Raseiniai district, 9 km south of Kelme. A few Jewish families lived in Lioliai during the 19th century. In 1883, the Polish Poritz (an estate owner) expelled 20 Jewish families who lived in the town for decades. In 1923, Lioliai had 262 residents. Before WWII, 5 Jewish families, who engaged in agriculture, lived in Lioliai. When Germany conquered Lithuania, the fate of the Jews of Lioliai was the same as the fate of the other Jews in the surrounding areas.
