(Yiddish, Berezne) A lodge near Taujenai in the Vilkomir district. A few Jewish families lived there in the past. One of them was Shlomo-Kalman Yakir. He is mentioned in a book from the middle of the 19th century that dealt with questions and answers related to the Halacha (Jewish Law).
