For what steamship line or railroad, does Bro. stand, under heading S.S. Line in entry 2? Thanks!

8/20/2009 Hello: I just saw your posting with the question about this interpretation. I surely don't claim to have the answer, but thought I would offer my "take" on it, and maybe it might be of help. It looks to me like this leg of a journey was from Goldsboro, North Carolina to Philadelphia. I think the railroad might be "B and O," which stood for Baltimore and Ohio. I have not researched whether their route covered this area, but you might want to look that up. Anyway, hope that might help a bit, and good luck! - Philis
