"Polish-language marriage record, Kałuszyn, 1850 (act 51). I can read most of it, but I'm unsure of the name of the village/gmina where the groom (and his parents) lived — the phrase is 'we wsi, Gminie ___ zamieszkałym', a few lines below the groom's name. Any help confirming that place name would be greatly appreciated."

9/16/2026 11:54 PM Hello,
I read "Pniewnik," which is a town not far from Kałuszyn.

(By the way, I would always recommend posting the full image, or at least including a direct link to it, because comparing handwriting across a larger amount of text is sometimes critical to figuring out unclear words. In this case, I only figured out the town name started with "P" by looking at other words, like "Panną," in the record, which I was luckily able to find manually.)
