Hello everyone,I am conducting research on a historic Jewish cemetery in Slovakia. I have documented several tombstones. I would be extremely grateful if anyone could help me transcribe and translate the Hebrew sections of these stones.
Thank you so much for your time, expertise, and assistance!

SHLOMO

son of

Yisrael Markfeld, who is alive

He passed away on the Eve of Yom Kippur [5]653 according to the small count

May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

-------------------------------------------------------
The term “the boy” indicates a child who has not yet reached the age of Bar Mitzvah

Shlomo is Solomon

Yisrael is Israel

“who is alive” indicates that the child predeceased the father. This is the first time that I have seen this indicated in this manner (by the word “Chai”). More commonly, there is an abbreviation for the words “Neiro Ya’ir”, which translates to “May his light continue to shine.”

The eve of Yom Kippur is always the 9th day in the month of Tishrei. In the year 5653, this day began at sunset on September 29th and ended at sunset on September 30th of the year 1892.

The phrase “of the small count” (here represented by a glyph containing three letters from this phrase, superimposed upon each other). The phrase means that the leading 5 in the year does not appear, but is understood. The number on the stone is actually 653.
