Attached are 3+4/4 pages of a letter sent by my great-grandfather Dr. Abram Riskin to my great-grandmother Bronya Levin-Riskin. The letter was sent to the Safed hotel of the Maiberg family, where Bronya would stay at times of illness. The page notes "shalom" in Hebrew at its very end. Would like to receive assistance in translation. Thank you; shana tova!

The fact that you’ll stay for a month after you think about how this gives you the opportunity to go a whole month without feeling me around you — something that particularly annoys you — and then to take a break from me. I would be happy if you could confirm to me that our negotiations regarding the child are over in a positive sense and we won’t have to repeat everything from scratch; this thought torments me, and if this is a big sacrifice for you — which I strongly doubt — then I ask you to make this sacrifice for me for the sake of the well being and peace of our home. Try to find a girl who is suitable for homework. Merka eats well and listens for now, I'll try not to bother you; I'll send you everything you want and everything you need, buy yourself chocolate every day, because you love it; in general, do not spare money for your health. Greetings from Merochka and mom and all our people. I'm in a hurry to get to the library on my own business. Be healthy. I kiss my nasty Abrasha hard. Greetings to the hosts and guests.
