Chaim Zanvl Abramowitz


Chaim Zanvl Abramowitz was born in 1902 in Ribnitzy. He was known as the Ribnitzer Rebbe, and considered a great Hasidic tzadik from Rybnitsa. He managed to live a fully Jewish religious life even under Stalin's rule. Abramowitz left the Soviet Union in 1970 and moved to Jerusalem, where he lived for a few years before moving to the United States. He died on October 18,1995 New York.
